Frequently Asked Questions

We require all sitters to hold a current Adult/Child/Infant CPR and First Aid certification. All sitters pass a national background check including state and county criminal records, social security check, sex offender registry, and driving record. Prospective sitters have an in person interview and have a minimum of 3 childcare references verified. All sitters must have a MINIMUM of 3 years of childcare experience to be considered (experience with family is not counted towards the 3 years).

You can always request whichever sitter you would like, and we will check their availability first! As a general rule, we do our best to keep the same couple of sitters with the same family for consistency. However, it all depends on sitter availability.

We are based out of Colorado Springs, but serve the surrounding areas of Fountain, Black Forest, Monument, Parker, Denver, Castle Rock, Woodland Park, Manitou Springs, and Pueblo. If you are located outside of these areas, you can absolutely still message us to see if we have any sitters willing to travel to you! 

Yes! We have many sitters who would love to take your child wherever they need to be, as long as you can provide and install any required car seats. We review all our sitters' driving records before bringing them on our team.

If you would like to meet the sitter in person before your appointment, the two hour paid minimum to the sitter applies, as many of our sitters travel 30+ minutes to provide care. Families are more than welcome to Facetime or video call their sitter beforehand free of any charge! If you do decide to set up a meet and greet with your sitter before the appointment, we happily waive the booking fee.

We respectfully leave the decision to the discretion of the sitter. Some sitters have their own children and do not feel comfortable caring for sick children; some sitters are ok with it depending on the symptoms. We ask that you please let us know immediately if your kiddos are feeling sick, and what their symptoms are. If the current sitter booked is not able to care for a sick child, we will do our best to find a replacement sitter. We appreciate your understanding!

No, we do not offer the option of flat rates. We only have you pay for the number of hours the sitter is caring for your child.

We offer a 10% discount on booking fees and memberships to the following families:  military, first responders, healthcare workers, teachers, students, and single parents. We appreciate all that you do!

In the event of illness or an emergency, you will  become our top priority to find a replacement sitter. In the event we are unable to provide a replacement, you will have the option of getting your booking fee refunded or receiving two free booking fees, on us.

Hourly rates are paid directly to your sitter immediately following care, in a method the two parties agree upon (cash or money transferring apps typically work best!)
